CNC Operator - Ice Sculpting

Clear Cut Ice Sculptures

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Ice Carving Assistant to join our team in Commerce Township. If you’re interested in rolling up your sleeves, working well in cold conditions, and enjoying being part of a supportive team, apply today!

Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 40 hours a week. We have peak holiday seasons including late November to mid-December, and June to July. Overtime is available during these seasons. Occasional nights may be needed.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machine and finish 2D sculptures in the freezer.
Package, deliver, and set up ice sculptures. Occasional breakdowns of sculptures may be requested.
Manage the ice block machines, including filling them, removing the ice blocks once they are formed and trimming them to size.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area, freezer, and tools.
Assist with designing ice sculptures, as needed.
Sculpt 3D ice sculptures.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be willing to work in a freezer for long periods.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Must be able to lift heavy ice blocks and related materials.
