Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based at our Jacksonville, FL dealership. This role is responsible for greeting guests, understanding their vehicle needs and preferences, and guiding them through the sales process from initial consultation to delivery. Day-to-day tasks include conducting product demonstrations and test drives, explaining vehicle features, benefits, and pricing options, and presenting financing, leasing, and warranty programs in coordination with the finance team. The Sales Associate maintains up-to-date product knowledge, follows up with prospective and existing customers, manages leads using CRM tools, and supports showroom and vehicle lot presentation. The role also involves meeting individual and team sales goals, adhering to compliance and ethical sales practices, and collaborating closely with management, service, and finance departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Qualifications Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a professional, welcoming demeanor. Sales and negotiation abilities, with experience in consultative selling, overcoming objections, and closing transactions in a goal-driven environment. Basic automotive product knowledge or the ability and motivation to quickly learn vehicle features, specifications, and competitive advantages. Comfort with technology, including CRM systems, dealership management software, email tools, and mobile applications used in the sales process. Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize leads, maintain accurate documentation, and follow structured sales processes. Ability to work on-site in Jacksonville, FL, including evenings and weekends as required in a retail automotive schedule. Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or automotive sales is preferred but not required; a strong interest in the automotive industry is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or sales training is a plus.
