AI Project Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an AI Project Attorney in Chicago, IL, with consideration for 100% remote locations within the US. The role involves supporting the integration and utilization of artificial intelligence in the delivery of legal services, collaborating across various teams and departments. Duties Develop and build generative AI workflows and use cases for legal practice. Create materials for different practice areas and roles. Expand prompt and workflow libraries and drive utilization by lawyers. Collaborate with practice group attorneys on AI adoption. Train lawyers and timekeepers on AI through workshops and sessions. Support the development of AI communities of practice. Maintain understanding of AI tools and assist in best practices development. Vetting and supporting the onboarding of new technology. Communicate with clients on AI and legal tech solutions. Develop case studies for marketing and business development. Requirements Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and admission to practice in a US jurisdiction. Minimum of three years of experience as an attorney in a law firm or similar environment. Strong technical skills and familiarity with generative AI and machine learning. Experience in developing AI workflows and supporting legal technology adoption. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Availability to travel as necessary. Education Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited university or college.
