Medical Laboratory Tech | Hilliard, Ohio

Seeking an experienced professional to provide critical laboratory support in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This position offers a 13-week assignment to deliver high-quality diagnostic expertise and technical proficiency during night shifts.


Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week
• 10 hours per shift
• Nights, 9:00pm - 7:30am

Qualifications:

• Active certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• ASCP certification required
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory environment preferred
• Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, processes, and quality control standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach

Responsibilities:

• Process and analyze a wide range of patient specimens according to established laboratory protocols
• Conduct diagnostic testing using state-of-the-art instrumentation
• Ensure all test results are accurate, reliable, and reported in a timely manner
• Perform instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
• Maintain thorough, organized laboratory records and adhere to regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with clinical staff to prioritize workload and address urgent laboratory requests
• Uphold safety and infection prevention procedures at all times
