Registered Nurse - NICU and Emergency Department Experience Required Job Description The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, focusing on patients with breathing issues. This role includes patient assessment, treatment administration, life support management, emergency response, and patient education. Responsibilities Patient Assessment: Examine patients with respiratory issues, analyze blood and sputum, and conduct lung capacity tests. Treatment Administration: Provide oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and perform chest physiotherapy to enhance breathing capabilities. Life Support/Ventilation: Manage, set up, and operate mechanical ventilators for patients unable to breathe independently. Emergency Response: Deliver emergency care including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Documentation: Update patient records, consult with physicians on treatment plans, and assist with discharge planning. Patient Education: Teach patients and their families how to manage respiratory diseases and use home equipment effectively. Schedule This position is for night shifts.
