Title
Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit

Schedule
Nights (3x12)
Every other weekend

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience required
- EPIC experience required
- Required certifications: BCLS (BLS), ACLS, NIHSS - AHA certifications only
- Key clinical skills:
- Ventilator management / care of ventilated patients
- IV starts and management (including continuous IV sedation)
- Telemetry monitoring; dysrhythmia interpretation & management
- Experience with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Familiarity with CRRT (NxStage) and Alaris pumps

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor and manage patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, and other severe health conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes
- Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately after signing the contract.
- RTO must be included with submission and built into the contract.
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required; flu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only).
