Heavy Haul Transport Driver

Loads will vary in size and weight depending on customer needs. Most work is within Arizona, but occasional out of state trips may be required. When that happens, per diem and accommodations are provided. This role suits someone who knows their equipment, drives clean, and communicates well with dispatch. Responsibilities Transport heavy loads safely and in compliance with all regulations. Understand tractor and trailer limits for weight, height, bridges, and tunnels. Select the proper tractor and trailer configuration for each job. Complete accurate inspection and maintenance records. Maintain daily and monthly driving logs. Coordinate with dispatch and provide steady updates on pickup and delivery. Requirements Hold a valid Class A commercial drivers license. Knowledge of vehicle operation and safe driving practices. Stay alert and detail focused to maintain safety. Follow instructions and communicate clearly with coworkers. Operate trucks, trailers, and related equipment safely. Perform routine daily maintenance. Pass mandatory medical and drug screening. Understand tool and equipment operation and basic maintenance. Seven paid holidays each year. New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. Forty hours of paid sick leave each year. Simple IRA retirement plan offered after the 90 day probation period. Pay is based on experience. Full time or part time schedules may be available. Weekend or holiday work may be required.
