Scheduling Coordinator

We are an elite oral surgery practice committed to exceptional patient care and first-class service to referring doctors. We are seeking a fun, hardworking, compassionate team player to help grow our practice and serve our community's oral surgery needs. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but not required. The role of the Scheduling Coordinator is crucial in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the best clinical outcomes, and meeting patient needs. Role and Responsibilities Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, collect patient financial responsibility, and prepare patient charts. Provide concierge-level customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members via phone, in person, or electronically. Ensure patients and visitors are greeted promptly and professionally. Answer calls promptly with a friendly demeanor. Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and use of exam and treatment rooms. Prepare daily schedules for each provider. Manage patient flow to reduce wait times. Assist patients as needed. Maintain a neat and orderly reception area. Maintain professional relationships with referring offices. Ensure confidentiality of all information per HIPAA regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of customer service experience required. Skills and Abilities Understanding of dental terminology. Friendly, inviting, and professional personality. Basic office skills such as typing and filing. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
