Job Description
MRI Technologist - Weekend and Monday Shifts

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule includes working Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 8:30 PM and Monday from 9:30 AM to 10 PM.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will perform MRI procedures according to protocols established by radiologists for both adult and pediatric patients. This role requires independent judgment to apply prescribed and appropriate MRI scanning techniques for diagnosis, while assuming responsibility for the designated area and procedures performed. The technologist will prepare and screen patients and objects for magnet safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI imaging procedures with attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Prepare patients for MRI scans, ensuring proper screening techniques are followed.
• Operate MRI equipment, ensuring quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
• Assume responsibility for the procedures performed in the designated area.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation through computerized systems like EPIC and FUJI PACS.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 5-7 years of MRI experience preferred.
• ARRT certification in MRI required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work independently and handle situations effectively.
