MRI Technologist
Position Summary: Performs MRI procedures according to protocols established by the radiologists; performs on a technical level without constant supervision of technical detail; performs procedures for both adult and pediatric patients requiring independent judgment to apply prescribed and appropriate MRI scanning techniques for diagnosis; assumes responsibility of designated area and procedures performed; prepares and screens patients and objects going into the magnet room for magnet safety.
Equipment Utilized in the Unit/Department: Philips Ingenia 1.5 Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector Omnicell EPIC FUJI PACS
Required Skills and Minimum Years of Experience: 5-7 years ***manager Craig Wolfe approved 2 years (11/14/2025)
Specific Licensures and Certifications/Registrations Required: ARRT, BLS, MR
Shift or Schedule Requirements: 3:30p-12a. May work alone at times.
