Job Title: Field Service Engineer (3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing) Location: Detroit, MI (Regional Travel) Work Arrangement: Field-Based / On-site Required Skills: 3+ years servicing industrial equipment, electromechanical engineering proficiency, industrial laser systems knowledge, axis motion systems. 3+ years working with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Required Certifications/Licenses: Electromechanical certifications sought. Other Required: Valid Driver’s License and U.S. Passport. Your Mission Lead Servicing: Own the servicing of complex industrial equipment, ensuring every system is calibrated for peak operational efficiency. Solve the Impossible: Provide on-site and remote technical support, diagnosing and repairing sophisticated hardware to keep production lines moving. Maintain Excellence: Perform precision preventive maintenance and keep meticulous service records to ensure long-term equipment reliability. What You Bring to the Team Technical Foundations: 3+ years of experience servicing industrial equipment and a background in electromechanical engineering technology. Hardware Fluency: A deep understanding of industrial lasers, axis motion systems, and the ability to read complex engineering schematics. A willingness to travel within a 100 mile radius of Detroit, Michigan for roughly 50% of service calls. The remaining service calls will be further in adjacent states.
