Senior Electrical Estimator Direct HireComplete advanced electrical estimating duties with periodic team supervision on a per-estimate basis as assigned by the Estimating Manager.Manage direct reports on a specific, assigned projectDevelops cost estimates from take-off stage to bid hand-offPerforms site inspections to fully determine the labor and materials needsAnalyzes material, labor requirements, and general conditions to complete a projectAttends pre-bid and scope review meetingsResponsible for leading and directing the flow of information for bid reviewsComputes and submits bidsInterprets the specifications and blueprints to determine design intentCoordinates with engineers, customers, vendors, and Project ManagersManages quotation process with vendorsDetermines equipment needsCapable of producing ROM and budgetary estimatesMaintains up-to-date information in Opportunity TrackerPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisor$90,000.00 – $110,000.00 Company-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision, 401(k) + 5% match, Paid Holidays / PTO etc…Travel to sites will be requiredRequirementsBachelors in Construction Management or Engineering or Technical Training in related field.10+ years electrical construction experience5+ years electrical estimating experience, preferredKnowledge ofNEC and Low Voltage SystemsEstimating software. Accubid Enterprise preferredAbility to:Visit sites as-needed - Occasional overnights may be requiredRead and evaluate specifications and blueprintsPerform computer-based take-offsComplete estimates using technology, e.g., Bluebeam, LiveCount, BIM modelsAdhere to department standardsAssess and quantify risks based on opportunity typeEstimate projects from $100k to $100M+Collaborate on complex estimates with estimating team membersCommunicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholdersMaintain composure under deadlines and external pressureAnalyze risks involved with certain project typesConfidently discuss and develop budgets based on estimated opportunitiesPrioritize multiple bid jobsEffectively supervise as directedComfortable working within a transparent work environmentStrong computer skills
