Service Technician Pipeline Robotics

The Service Technician Pipeline Robotics is responsible for supporting the assembly, maintenance, repair, testing, and deployment of robotic equipment used in trenchless pipeline rehabilitation applications. This role works with electromechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in both shop and field environments to ensure equipment reliability and performance. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues while supporting customers and field operations.

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Technical training or experience in Industrial Electronics, Robotics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
• Experience in equipment maintenance, repair, assembly, or troubleshooting in industrial, construction, utility, automation, or related environments preferred.
• Minimum one year of soldering experience required.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of industrial electronics, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical systems, and automated equipment maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system malfunctions and determine root causes.
• Ability to disassemble, repair, reassemble, adjust, and align equipment components to established standards.
• Familiarity with electrical assembly, panel building, PCB soldering, diagnostics, calibration, testing, and maintenance processes.
• Ability to use diagnostic and test equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; ERP/MRP experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to travel as needed, including obtaining and maintaining a valid U.S. passport.
• German language skills are a plus but not required.

It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
