This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity within a growing fabrication department, offering long-term career potential for reliable and motivated candidates.Position DetailsLocation: Batavia, ILJob Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-HireShift: 2nd shift 2:30 PM- 11:00 PMPay Rate: $20.00+/hr DOE (Depending on Experience)Job ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding, brazing, and soldering tasks.Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, benders, and cutters.Perform pipe cutting and sheet metal fabrication.Assist with sandblasting and deburring processes.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.Safely use hand tools and power tools.Handle and move materials and fabricated components.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Support various functions within the fabrication department as needed.QualificationsPrevious welding experience required.MIG welding experience preferred.Mechanical aptitude and fabrication experience are a plus.Ability to read blueprints and work from measurements.Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 45 pounds occasionally.Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas of production.Why Join Our Team?Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potential.Hands-on training and skill development.Supportive team environment.Opportunity to expand your welding and fabrication skills.Benefits Upon HireHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k)
