Senior Human Resources Generalist Location: Northern Vermont Schedule: Full-time | Onsite We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to support a growing manufacturing operation in Northern Vermont. This is a highly visible, onsite HR role for an experienced manufacturing HR professional who excels in employee relations, people development, manager coaching, and building strong relationships throughout an organization. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will partner closely with employees, supervisors, managers, and leadership while maintaining a strong presence within the manufacturing operation. This individual will play an important role in strengthening employee relations, developing leaders, supporting talent and succession planning, and driving employee engagement and retention. A relocation package is available for qualified candidates interested in relocating to Vermont. Key Responsibilities Lead employee relations activities, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, employee concerns, performance management, and corrective action. Coach and develop supervisors and managers to strengthen their effectiveness as people leaders. Build trusted relationships with hourly employees, supervisors, managers, and organizational leadership. Support talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and employee development initiatives. Identify workforce and employee-relations trends and partner with leadership to develop appropriate solutions. Support administration and compliance related to FMLA, STD/LTD, ADA, Workers' Compensation, and applicable employment requirements. Support employee engagement, retention, and workforce initiatives. Support onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS, employee records, and other HR operations. Participate in training and broader organizational and HR initiatives. Maintain a visible and approachable onsite presence within the manufacturing operation. Qualifications 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience within a manufacturing environment required. Demonstrated strength in employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, and corrective action. Proven ability to coach and develop managers and supervisors and strengthen people leadership throughout an organization. Experience supporting an hourly manufacturing workforce. Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment compliance, leave administration, and employee relations. Demonstrated ability to build credibility and trusted relationships at all levels of an organization. Strong communication, judgment, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience supporting a 24/7 or multi-shift manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related discipline preferred. PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification is a plus. HRIS and Microsoft Office proficiency
