*Position Overview*

* Primary job functions include surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, dental scaling and polishing along with digital dental x-rays, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and preparing lab specimens
* Assisting veterinarians with exam rooms and animal restraints
* Maintaining patient medical records

*Qualifications of a Licensed Veterinary Technician*

* Be Licensed by the state of NY
* Ability to work 5 days a week with one night shift and a rotating Saturday
* Experience with catheters, blood draws, anesthesia, and surgery
* Demonstrated passion for patient care and client service
* Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Team player with the ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
