Senior Product Marketing Manager

Location: This role is in-person 3-4 days/week at either our Playa Vista, Los Angeles (preferred) or Midtown Manhattan, New York City offices

Sr. Product Marketing Manager

Sunfish is looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to own how we position, message, price and package our fertility health products for the patients, clinics, and ecosystem partners we serve. In this high-leverage role you'll sit at the intersection of product, marketing, and clinic operations moving fluidly between strategy and execution. You'll be the connective tissue that makes sure what we say (positioning and messaging), and how we say it (SDR scripts, enablement materials), and what we build (product experience) are completely aligned.

Job Responsibilities:

Positioning & Messaging

• Own Sunfish's core product positioning and messaging architecture, including message pillars for our IVF Success Program, Egg Freezing Program, Sunfish Starts, and other new products as they launch.

• Design and run message testing to validate what resonates with patients, clinics, and ecosystem partners and iterate based on results.

• Translate positioning into consistent, differentiated messaging that can be adapted for sales and marketing channels like email, in-person events, social media, POS, etc.

• Conduct market, competitor, and audience research to inform our product, marketing, and sales strategies.

• Conduct competitive analysis against clinic payment plans, and other fertility support / financing options to ensure Sunfish packaging is clearly differentiated.

Pricing & Packaging

• Develop pricing strategies (tiering, bundling, promotional structures) and conduct price sensitivity analysis in partnership with the product and sales teams.

• Design and run tests on pricing and packaging —new tiers, price points, bundle configurations—and offer recommendations.

• Package Sunfish offerings to be highly competitive and attractive to both patients and clinics.

Product Launches and Clinic Enablement

• Own end-to-end coordination of new product and feature launches—planning, cross-functional alignment, timelines, resources, and go-to-market execution.

• Build launch materials and internal briefings so every team (SDRs, product, clinic-facing staff) is aligned and equipped with the right messages before go-live.

• Establish a systematic process to capture feedback from patients and clinics when new products are launched and close the loop with the product team by continuously sharing customer feedback on what's working and what's missing from Sunfish’s products.

• Build and maintain clinic enablement materials including one-sheets, product brochures, financial calculators, patient resources, patient success stories, FAQs, etc. that help clinic staff refer high-intent patients to Sunfish.

• Partner with clinic-facing teams to understand what clinics need, identify gaps in material and training and help close those gaps.

Skills and experience needed:

• You must be excited to be the first product marketer at Sunfish! Growth mindset, high level of comfort with startup pace, and ambiguity tolerance is a must.

• 5+ years in product marketing in a B2B2C or channel-partner model at startups scaling from seed through Series B.

• Must be customer-obsessed and bring the customer’s point of view to impact business, product, and marketing strategy.

• Comfort working directly with quantitative performance data (conversion, activation, bookings) and qualitative data (customer interview, surveys) to inform messaging, pricing and packaging decisions.

• Must be a storyteller at heart with a proven ability to take medically complex, sensitive topics and tell stories in a clear, concise way without being reductive or pejorative.

• You enjoy writing and have good instincts for what makes a good or bad piece of content.

• Proven track record of working closely with sales to enable them to succeed, be it through marketing materials, nurture campaigns, customer stories, or events.

• Exceptional communication chops, including strong verbal, written, and influencer skills. Sharing slide decks you’ve authored and links to published writing samples will be required.

• Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Marketing. MBA’s preferred.
