If you’ve played volleyball at a recreational, high school, or club level and enjoy encouraging kids, this is a great opportunity to gain coaching experience while making a real impact in your community. About the Role As a Volleyball Instructor, you will help lead youth practices and game day experiences for athletes ages 9–14. Depending on the program, you may lead skill‑focused training sessions or coach and manage a team during league games. Our goal is simple: create a positive environment where kids can learn volleyball and enjoy the game. What You’ll Do Lead fun practices focused on volleyball fundamentals and skill development Coach teams during games, ensuring all players receive fair playing time Referee youth games when needed Encourage teamwork, confidence, and good sportsmanship Help athletes of all skill levels feel included and supported Communicate positively with players and parents Set up and take down fields and equipment before and after programs What We’re Looking For Experience playing volleyball (recreational, school, or club level) Positive, energetic personality Comfortable leading groups of kids Ability to coach, encourage, and manage a team Reliable and able to commit to the full season (4-6 weeks) Weekend availability required Ideal Candidates Former high school or college volleyball players College students studying education, sports, or kinesiology Coaches looking to gain experience Anyone passionate about volleyball and working with kids Each franchised location is independently owned and operated and is solely and exclusively responsible for determining local hiring decisions, compensation, benefits, and other terms of employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr i9 Sports - Oak Park, Logan Square, Jefferson Park, IL
