Job Details

• Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility
• Location: Geneva, New York 14456
• Schedule: Part-time nights
• Shift Duration: 8-hour night shifts
• Weekly Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week
• Contract Length: 18 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,300-$1,360
• Start Date: 10/13/2026
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

Job Requirements

• Active New York LPN licensure
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI accepted
• At least 1 year of experience working as an LPN in a long-term care facility
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric residents
• Ability to start on a Tuesday or Thursday for full-shift orientation
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• Ability to work in an environment with anticipated exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents
• Collect ongoing data related to residents' physical and psychosocial condition and communicate findings to the RN and interdisciplinary care team
• Support development of individualized care plans that reflect resident needs, goals, and age-specific considerations
• Reinforce a safe, healthy, and respectful environment for residents and families
• Recommend updates to the plan of care based on resident outcomes and changing needs
• Collaborate with residents, families, and care team members to promote positive outcomes and customer satisfaction
• Maintain current clinical knowledge and nursing competency through continuing education and in-service learning
• Assist with mentoring and orientation of team members as needed
• Deliver care with attention to safety, quality, and resident dignity
