Manufacturing Manager

Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Manager Location: San Fernando, CA Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 annually (competitive, based on experience) Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (with strong potential for growth) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee and optimize production operations in our San Fernando, CA facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, process improvement expertise, and a proven track record of managing high-performing teams in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity goals are met Develop and implement strategies to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase output Manage, mentor, and develop production teams and supervisors Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards Oversee production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with leadership experience required Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in ERP systems and production management tools is a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
