OUTPATIENT SOCIAL WORKER

Responsibilities The Outpatient Clinical Social Worker provides direct care to patients in a psychiatric hospital outpatient setting. The Clinical Social Worker performs psychosocial assessments, develops interdisciplinary treatment plans, facilitates group therapy sessions, and executes discharge as well as aftercare planning. They assist patients and their families through psychotherapeutic skills to understand, identify and resolve complex problems resulting from psychiatric illnesses while ensuring compliance with quality patient care and regulatory standards. The Clinical Social Worker provides in‑person and/or virtual programming as determined by the needs of the program. This position will be housed out of the Carson Outpatient Facility at 16920 Avalon Blvd, Carson, CA, 90746. Licensure by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LCSW, MFT, or Registered Associate/Intern preferred; licensure or registration required.
