Medical Assistant
Pay: $20-22/hour
Location: Bee Cave, TX 78738
SummarySeeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a dynamic healthcare team in Bee Cave. This on-site position involves working closely with physicians to provide efficient patient care, including triage, rooming patients, and managing patient communications. The ideal candidate will have prior medical assisting experience and a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient service. This role offers an opportunity to transition into a permanent position, providing growth and stability within the healthcare field.
Requirements
- Graduate of an MA program (preferred)
- 1+ year of medical assisting experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with EMR systems
- Certified Medical Assistant (Plus)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Plus)
Responsibilities
- Conduct phone triage and patient call-backs, including delivering lab results, follow-ups, and answering patient questions
- Room patients and take vitals
- Prepare patients for exams and assist physicians
- Manage electronic medical records (EMR) through accurate and timely data entry
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, including forwarding patient questions to physicians or advanced practice providers
