RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey's largest integrated healthcare system, is seeking a collaborative and distinguished physician leader to serve as Clinical Director of Gastroenterology at Community Medical Center (CMC) in Toms River, NJ.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gastroenterologist with a proven track record in leadership to join a growing program as the Clinical Director of Gastroenterology. They will partner closely with the Executive Vice President of Physician Services, VP of GI Clinical Operations, and hospital administrative leaders to enhance patient access, drive operational excellence, and ensure superb clinical quality.

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $300,000 to $755,000 per year. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Key responsibilities include providing leadership, strategy, and accountability for gastroenterology providers across the Ocean County market, delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest clinical standards, overseeing provider productivity, quality assurance, and operational efficiency initiatives, collaborating with service line and hospital leadership to recruit and retain top gastroenterology talent, participating in the education and mentorship of fellows, providers, and staff, promoting the digestive health service line both internally and externally, supporting quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction goals, and compliance with regulatory standards, and serving on hospital committees and contributing to strategic growth initiatives.

Candidate requirements include being board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, fellowship trained in Gastroenterology, holding current BLS and ACLS certifications, having a minimum of 10 years of experience in gastroenterology with demonstrated leadership success, and possessing strong organizational, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
