Director of Human Resources

HR DirectorThis is a highly visible leadership role for a hands-on HR professional who can serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership while continuing to lead the day-to-day Human Resources function.The HR Director will help build scalable HR programs, strengthen organizational capabilities, support operational growth, and develop a high-performing workplace culture.Key responsibilities include:Partnering with executive leadership on people strategy, workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational changeLeading employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and conflict resolutionCoaching managers and supervisors on leadership, communication, accountability, and employee developmentOverseeing recruiting for hourly, professional, and leadership positionsManaging compensation, benefits, merit planning, pay equity, and vendor relationshipsEnsuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulationsOverseeing HRIS administration, onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HR processesDeveloping HR metrics, dashboards, policies, procedures, and reportingDesigning performance management, leadership development, and employee training programsSupervising, coaching, and developing the HR CoordinatorQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldAt least 10 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experienceManufacturing or multi-site operations experience strongly preferredComprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirementsDemonstrated success leading employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, compliance, and organizational developmentStrong executive presence with the ability to influence leaders and connect people strategies to business objectivesExcellent communication, coaching, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExperience within a private equity-backed organization, leading organizational change, scaling HR infrastructure, or supporting mergers and acquisitions would be especially valuable.This is an excellent opportunity for an HR leader who enjoys building, improving, and creating lasting organizational impact.
