A Balanced Schedule Designed With You in Mind Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend. This schedule gives you four days off each week, offering more time for rest, family, and the things that matter most. What We Offer Supportive, team-focused culture Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits effective the first of the month 401(k) with generous company match Generous PTO accruals Paid holidays Mileage reimbursement Tuition reimbursement Employee referral program Hospice certification benefit with salary increase Merit-based pay increases Night shift differential Employee discount programs What You’ll Do Provide direct patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act Deliver skilled nursing care based on comprehensive assessments and individualized plans of care Document patient services accurately and promptly Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and symptom management Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, holistic care Provide effective pain and symptom management and evaluate patient responses What You Bring Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program Three years of nursing experience (hospice, community health, or med-surg preferred) Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice Current CPR certification Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle Understanding of the hospice philosophy and the needs of the terminally ill If you’re ready to join a team that values compassion, community, and the people who deliver care, Day City Hospice would love to meet you.
