Anesthesiology Physician Opportunity at Our Organization in Pittsburgh, PA

Our organization is actively searching for skilled anesthesiologists to join the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at our facility in Pittsburgh. Ideal candidates should be board-eligible or certified by the ABA, or possess equivalent qualifications, along with an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.

Key Highlights:

• Position Type: General Anesthesiology
• Work Schedule: Daytime coverage from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM or 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• On-Call Requirements: Beeper call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on all days
• CRNA Supervision: Target concurrency of 2.75:1
• Team Composition: 24 anesthesiologists and 33 CRNAs

About Our Facility:

Our facility is a 488-bed tertiary care hospital located in the uptown district of Pittsburgh. With a rich history as the first permanent hospital in the city and the first Mercy hospital globally, we continue to provide faith-based care, particularly to underserved populations.

As the only Catholic hospital in the region, we offer specialized services in women's health, neurology, thoracic, and orthopedic care. Our facility is recognized as a Neuroradiology Stroke Intervention Center, a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center, and an American Burn Association-verified Adult Burn Center, along with a Pediatric Burn Center.
