Home Health Aide

Home Health Aid We are looking for a Home Health Aid to join our team to work with one veteran for 11 hours/week in the Springfield, OH or Xenia, OH area. You will directly work with the veteran, following a one-on-one care plan in the veteran's home. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building a genuine relationship with the veteran. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets the patient's needs. Responsibilities Assist with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles Change bed linens, do laundry, light housekeeping, or assist with personal care if needed Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor Build a relationship with the veteran by engaging them in conversation Provide medication reminders, conduct blood pressure and/or sugar level checks, and assist with meal prep, if needed Qualifications Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aid program (CNA or HHA) High School Diploma or GED One-year prior professional experience Driver's license required CPR certification required Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour Heart2Heart Home Healthcare, Inc. provides professional, compassionate support services by certified nursing assistants which allow individuals we serve to live safely in their homes.
