Clinical Endocrinologist - Care Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced endocrinologist interested in both clinical excellence and helping shape the future of modern endocrine care delivery. Position Overview AMCR is seeking a Clinical Endocrinologist – Care Team Leader to serve as a senior clinician and physician leader within our growing outpatient endocrinology practice. This role is ideal for an endocrinologist who enjoys collaborative care, mentoring advanced practice providers, and participating in practice growth and innovation initiatives. The position offers significant autonomy, leadership opportunity, and long‑term growth potential within a rapidly expanding organization. What You’ll Be Doing Clinical Endocrinology Care Diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine conditions, including: Diabetes and diabetes technology management Obesity and metabolic disease Thyroid disorders Osteoporosis and bone health disorders Adrenal and pituitary disorders Reproductive endocrinology conditions Build and manage a robust outpatient referral‑based patient panel Utilize CGMs, insulin pumps, EMR analytics, and remote monitoring tools to optimize patient outcomes Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered endocrine care in a collaborative outpatient setting Care Team Leadership Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary care team including: Nurse Practitioners Physician Assistants Diabetes Educators Dietitians Medical Assistants Participate in complex case discussions and coordinated care planning Help develop and refine innovative care delivery workflows and team‑based care models Support provider development and clinical quality initiatives Practice Growth & Strategy Collaborate on practice operations, strategy, and growth initiatives Participate in development of scalable endocrine and metabolic care models Opportunity for future leadership advancement and potential equity ownership Procedures & Advanced Endocrine Care Opportunity to perform and expand procedural expertise including: Thyroid ultrasound Thyroid FNA Thyroid thermal ablation DEXA interpretation FibroScan and body composition analysis Innovation & Quality Participate in value‑based care initiatives and quality improvement programs Help shape future endocrinology care delivery models focused on access, outcomes, and patient experience Stay current with advancements in diabetes care, obesity medicine, and endocrine technology Qualifications Board Certified in Endocrinology 3+ years of clinical endocrinology experience preferred Completion of an accredited Endocrinology Fellowship program Eligible for or active California medical license Strong interest in diabetes care, obesity medicine, and metabolic health Excellent communication and leadership skills Interest in physician leadership, innovation, and practice growth preferred Why Join AMCR? 100% outpatient endocrinology practice No inpatient rounding requirements Collaborative and physician‑led culture Established referral network and strong patient demand Clinical support from Diabetes Educators, CGM/pump specialists, and APPs Flexible scheduling options, including virtual care days Opportunity to help build a modern endocrine care model Leadership growth and long‑term equity potential Benefits & Perks Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match CME Allowance and Paid CME Time Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Malpractice Insurance Coverage Performance‑Based Bonus Opportunities Leadership Development Opportunities Flexible Scheduling Options Equity/Ownership Potential Compensation: $300,000 – $350,000 per year (base salary 300‑350k + productivity) #J-18808-Ljbffr
