Summary/Objective: The Commercial Loan Coordinator is organized and driven with some commercial lending exposure andsincere interest in deepening their knowledge in the industry. The Commercial Loan Coordinator is aunique opportunity to learn more about commercial lending and have opportunity within the organization.The Commercial Loan Coordinator is responsible for supporting a Commercial Loan Officer inoperational, administrative, and customer communication areas. The role is a key contact person to theCommercial Lender’s borrowers, providing excellent member support. They work directly with aCommercial Loan Officer (CLO) and assist in the management of a CLO’s loan portfolio, pipeline, andpartnership with internal departments in order to create an exceptional experience for our members. Essential Functions include: Provides critical loan origination support to the commercial lenderby answering telephone calls, responding to emails, requestingdocumentation, scheduling, and responding to other inquiries in atimely fashion. Facilitates open communication and loan document coordinationbetween Commercial Loan Officer, borrowers, internaldepartments (Credit Risk, Commercial Operations, Legal, Retail,etc.), outside vendors and others. Supports the Commercial Loan Officer from the initial applicationprocessing through closing and booking the loan, includingrenewals, extensions and modifications along with ongoingsupport for borrower needs. Compiles and reviews commercial loan requests by gatheringfinancial information and completing credit applications asneeded. Anticipates lender and operational needs and timelinesto ensure successful loan closings. Required Skills, Education and Experience: High School Diploma, or equivalent Three (3)+ years of relevant financial lending experience. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and other various PC applications. Ability to apply logical or critical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts,anticipate needs, and draw conclusions. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multi-task. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with others in a clear, thorough, andtimely manner Competence with fair lending practices, regulations, and requirements. Demonstrate a high level of organization, ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy, manage multiple projects, demonstrate self-motivation and ability to follow through with tasks. Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience Commercial lending experience Strong working knowledge with common commercial loan structures and commercial loandocuments Bachelor's degree in related discipline Experience and knowledge of Abrigo and Symitar-Episys bank operating systems Additional compliance training is desirable Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-time / 40 hours per week Compensation Information: The person hired into this position will likely earn between $49,158.88 and $61,448.60 annual salary, plus annual bonus. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
