Clinical Care Technician Geriatric Unit

Job Overview A Clinical Care Technician provides direct patient care and supports nursing staff in the Geriatric Unit at Community Medical Center. The position is full‑time, night shift, 36 hours per week from 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred: Previous nursing assistant or clinical experience. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Scheduling Requirements Night shift, 36 hours per week, 6 p.m.–6:30 a.m. Essential Functions The CCT directly assists patients with activities of daily living and performs nursing care tasks including phlebotomy and EKGs. Provides patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to patient age. Ensures effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions. Communicates regularly with patients and nursing staff regarding patient status. Participates in the collaboration of patient plans of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions.
