Quality inspector

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a manufacturing company in Farmington! The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience inspecting parts from multi-axis milling, turning, and production equipment. The ability to read and work from blueprints is required. Some CMM experience is required as well.


salary: $63,000 - $73,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Utilize state-of-the-art inspection equipment to perform thorough inspections of medical and aerospace components, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Employ advanced measurement tools such as CMMs, optical comparators, and other precision instruments to verify critical dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain meticulous inspection records, documenting measurements, deviations, and non-conformities accurately for regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing real-time feedback on quality issues, collaborating on root cause analysis, and contributing to corrective action initiatives.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to industry standards, company procedures, and customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the quality inspection processes.
