About the Role

• Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Gastroenterologist to join an expanding GI service in a collaborative faculty position focused on community-based practice.

• Ideal candidate is a skilled clinician with strong interest in community gastroenterology, supported by resources of a major teaching environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient consultative gastroenterology care.

• Perform routine GI procedures including EGD and colonoscopy.

• Manage wide range of GI conditions including GERD, liver disease, IBS, IBD, and GI bleeding.

• Participate in rotating inpatient coverage and call schedule.

• Collaborate with tertiary GI team for advanced cases and referrals.

• Work alongside multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers, GI nurses, and anesthesiology support.

• Optional academic involvement: teaching medical students and residents, clinical quality initiatives, scholarly or research collaboration.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from accredited institution.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.

• Completion of ACGME-accredited GI fellowship.

• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.

• Strong clinical skills, dedication to patient-centered care, commitment to health equity, excellent communication and team collaboration.
