FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Finance Department of EXPED WARFARE TRNG GRP PACIFIC. Responsibilities You will formulate budgets and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. You will review and evaluate budget request, and reporting of obligations and expenditures. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries for use by managers. You will track and control funds for special programs. You will compile, analyze, and summarize financial budget information related to assigned areas of financial programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing budgeting or financial management functions (e.g. formulating budgets, reviewing or evaluating budget requests, or budget execution) and developing reports to provide budgetary recommendations ensuring the financial objectives of the organization are met. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Completion of 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR Completion of a LL.B. or J.D., if related.
