We are an interventional pain practice. We are growing very rapidly and need an employee who is willing to grow with our company.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Medical Assistant, you will partner with the doctors and other clinicians to provide a high level of efficient patient care, while always presenting a caring and professional experience for the patients. We are looking for somebody who can effectively perform blood draws, EKGs, patient intakes, and medical history.

DUTIES

Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for doctors and other clinician

Obtain patient history and other pertinent health information

Schedule appointments

Check in and discharge patients

Perform data entry

Obtain and record vital signs

Clean exam rooms

Answer phone calls

Blood Draws/EKG

Draw medication

PRP injection prep

QUALIFICATIONS

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy

● Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs

● Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in fast-paced environment

● Ability to efficiently type using Apple laptops or tablets.

● Be proficient in Google Platform

- Example: Drive, Email, Calendar, Documents

● Must have a passion for medicine and a desire to grow

● Must be adaptable and adheres to protocols

● Spanish is a big plus (conversationally fluent)

● Must be a Medical Assistant

● Comfortable doing Blood draws

● Detail-oriented

● Time management and task completion skills

● Reporting skills

● Be on time and maintain consistent, regular attendance

We are seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish/English) who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities include:

- Translating medical information between Spanish and English
- Rooming patients and taking vital signs
- Performing blood draws (phlebotomy)
- Conducting EKGs
- Preparing medications for injections
- Managing a high volume of phone calls
- Handling administrative tasks

Requirements:

- Prior experience working from home (remote administrative support)
- Comfortable traveling multiple times per month to clinic locations

Current travel expectations for candidates (subject to change based on physician availability):

- Daly City: 2 times per month
-San Jose 5 times per month

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and confident in both clinical and administrative duties
