⭐ General Laborer – Warehouse Cleanup

A large warehouse cleanout project is underway, and we’re hiring General Laborers to help clear, organize, and prepare the facility for renovation. This is a hands‑on, physical role perfect for candidates who like active work, using tools, and staying busy throughout the day. No specialized experience required — training provided.

• Load and unload materials from trucks by hand; forklift use available for trained workers
• Use hand and power tools to break down, dismantle, and remove old warehouse fixtures
• Move and sort items throughout the warehouse for disposal or relocation
• Assist with packing and staging materials for removal
• Support light carpentry tasks as needed
• Pick and move items to designated areas
• Maintain a clean workspace by removing debris and keeping walkways clear
• Follow safety procedures when using tools and working around equipment

• General labor experience in warehouse, construction, or industrial settings
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
• Comfortable loading/unloading trucks and handling materials
• Able to work in a fast‑paced, physical environment
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions
• Strong commitment to safe work practices

• Forklift experience (not required)
• Carpentry background or comfort with basic dismantling tasks
• Material handling or packing experience
• Willingness to work overtime when available

• Be part of a high‑impact project where your work makes a visible difference
• Consistent weekday schedule : Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Regular overtime opportunities (approx. 2 hours/day)
• Build experience in warehouse operations, tool use, and material handling
• Work in a team‑focused, safety‑driven environment

Industrial warehouse undergoing a full cleanout. Expect frequent lifting, moving materials, and using hand/power tools. You’ll be on your feet most of the day, working around trucks, shelving, and equipment. PPE required; safety is the top priority.

This is a Contract position based out of Chesapeake, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
