Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule: Varied 12 hours; 3 shifts of 12 hours each (2 days, 1 night)

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks; Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements:
- 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery/OB experience
- Fetal Monitoring Experience
- Previous travel experience (highly preferred)
- Current Active American Heart Association BLS
- Current AWHONN certification
- Current NRP certification
- License verification
- Permanent address must be included with submission

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess and identify patient needs and establish a plan of care.
- Implement interventions and evaluate the patient plan of care based on patient progress.
- Manage high-risk pregnancies, including conditions such as preterm labor, hypertension, and diabetes.
- Provide prenatal testing and conduct amniocentesis as needed.
- Educate patients and families on childbirth and related topics.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must be able to start ASAP (pending compliance).
- RTO must be included in submission. Week-long RTO requests cannot be accommodated.
