Maintenance TechnicianThis role supports a highly automated, high-volume assembly environment by performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment. The Maintenance Technician works primarily on ensuring that multiple assembly lines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. The position focuses on mechanical systems with a strong electrical troubleshooting component, including work on pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, sensors, and PLC-controlled machinery.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance (PM) on assembly lines and associated equipment according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedulesTroubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on assembly equipment, with approximately 70% of work focused on mechanical systemsDiagnose and resolve electrical issues up to 480V on production equipment, including motors, sensors, and control componentsUse a multimeter to check motors, verify voltage, and confirm proper electrical function of equipmentTroubleshoot, replace, and adjust various types of sensors, including those used for safety and automation on the linesPerform PLC troubleshooting (without programming) on Mitsubishi PLCs, including ladder logic navigation and fault diagnosisNavigate and use HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems to monitor, diagnose, and adjust equipment operationConduct light curtain and safety-related preventive maintenance, including inspection and verification of safety devices and RFID readersTroubleshoot hydraulic systems, including identifying leaks, pressure issues, and component failures, and perform necessary repairsTroubleshoot pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, and air supply components, and restore proper operationEssential SkillsAt least 4 years of maintenance experience in a production environment.At least 2 years of experience working on assembly lines.Demonstrated experience troubleshooting sensors on automated equipment.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.At least 2 years of PLC troubleshooting experience, including ladder logic (any platform, with emphasis on Mitsubishi PLCs).At least 2 years of hydraulic troubleshooting experience.At least 2 years of pneumatics troubleshooting experience.Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting up to 480V in an industrial setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
