Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 36 hours per week | 4x10 or 3x12 shifts (7:00am–5:30pm or 7:00am–7:30pm) | Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, and Callback per unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in inpatient and outpatient cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedural labs
• Assist with mechanical and electrical cardiac diagnosis and intervention procedures including structural heart, vascular interventions, and critical cardiac support
• Monitor and manage patients requiring mechanical circulatory support devices including ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
• Support pre- and post-procedural care in the holding area, ensuring excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Collaborate with cardiovascular technologist (CVT) staff within a team-based practice model
• Perform charge nurse duties and respond to on-call and callback needs per unit requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Moderate sedation training and dysrhythmia/telemetry competency
• Demonstrated experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures
• Experience with Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever
• Structural Heart experience including CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA
• Critical care or cardiac nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiovascular certification or RCES certification preferred
• Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and associated equipment
• EP Lab experience
