Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation and Cooking : Prepare ingredients, chop vegetables, cut meats, mix sauces, and cook dishes according to the head chef’s recipes and restaurant standards using methods such as grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking Indeed+2.
- Station Setup and Maintenance : Set up and stock your assigned station with necessary ingredients, utensils, and equipment before service begins, and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift Indeed+1.
- Quality Control : Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature, properly seasoned, and presented attractively. Test and taste dishes to maintain consistency Job Descriptions, Resumes, and Career Resources.
- Inventory and Stock Management : Monitor ingredient levels, replenish supplies as needed, and report shortages to the head chef or kitchen manager interviewguy.com+1.
