Quality Inspector

We are looking for a Quality Inspector with metal manufacturing experience to work full‑time on the 2nd shift at Ferco Tech. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the parts we create match customer requirements and that no detail is missed. If it looks wrong it probably is; if the product doesn’t match the print, you solve the problem and get it corrected; if it’s not within tolerance, it’s not right, and you won’t stop until it is. Key Responsibilities Ensure conformance on precision aerospace components using visual and dimensional inspection per applicable customer specifications. Performs receiving, in‑process, and final inspections using fixed or variable measuring instruments checking for irregularities and defects. Must be able to work from complex and detailed blueprints and/or verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision. Effectively communicates with peers and interdepartmental personnel maintaining a cohesive team environment. Assists with other quality related functions upon supervisor or managerial request. Ability to multi‑task. Good work ethic. Self‑starter. Willing to learn. Good attendance. Other ad hoc duties as required. Basic Qualifications Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Must have quality inspection experience. Familiarity with metal manufacturing processes. Must be able to use calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc., and surface plate layout techniques. Intermediate level skills with MS Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Physical Demands Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand on a daily basis. Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc. Able to successfully pass vision screens. Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects. Schedule Training: Monday – Thursday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm. 2nd Shift – Monday - Thursday 3:30 pm - 2:00 am, overtime possible daily and Sundays. Eligibility Requirements This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export‑controlled technology.
