Develops and maintains operations training programs. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Administers training programs to ensure the availability of qualified and licensed personnel. Interfaces with line personnel to analyze performance needs and recommend appropriate training solutions. Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates training materials and programs using the systematic approach to training. Administers and coordinates training programs for sites and corporate groups as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum education required for the position Desired: B.S. Degree in education, engineering, or related technical degree or equivalent. Minimum experience required for the position Instructor, Operations Sr: Must meet one of the following: 12 years commercial nuclear plant experience; An SRO license or certification; B.S. Degree in a related field and at least three years of nuclear training experience or at least three years of experience teaching or developing curriculum in an education or academic environment. Instructor, Operations Sr Staff: 5 years of nuclear plant experience (commercial or military) or a B.S. degree in education, engineering, or related technical degree or equivalent experience. At least five years of experience in the associated line organization. Desired: 3 years previously licensed as PWR-SRO Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position Technical proficiency in the assigned area. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
