Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the restaurant operations: schedule work assignments, set priorities, direct the workflow of staff
- Give clear directions and communication to crew members
- Ensure all operational/safety procedures are followed: audits, temperature checks and required record keeping
- Process comps/voids/discounts using the Shift Leader approval procedures
- Ability to step in to any position
- Effectively resolve customer complaints or issues
- Resolve/document employee issues for management following guidelines
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and some holidays
Skills Required:
- Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Ability to supervise employees in a positive and respectful manner
- Customer service mindset and ability to effectively communicate with unhappy customers/employees
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle difficult situations and persons in a positive and professional manner
- Advanced oral and written communication skills with the ability to write job-related items in a clear, precise manner
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be a proven leader in the fast food, family dining or casual dining environment
- We are looking for a minimum of 6 months to one year of experience as a Shift Leader
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
- Must be 18 or older to apply
