IT Business Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technology Risk and Control Analyst - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role supports the execution of key priorities related to managing model governance for the technology division. The position involves coordinating technology risk and control governance, utilizing data visualization tools for reporting, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the control environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in a risk and control environment, and proficiency with Jira, SharePoint, Excel, Tableau, and SQL.

Responsibilities:

• Take on established reporting, as well as creating, automating and enhancing reporting to be real-time executive-ready dashboards and visuals
• Utilize Excel, SQL and Tableau for data visualization
• Navigate and manipulate SharePoint and Confluence
• Track work items in Jira
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior line of business supervisors
• Manage, analyze, and perform key control tasks for the business as requested
• Actively participate in governance routines, including preparing and presenting documentation
• Undertake program-wide initiatives to enrich the control framework, including identification and resolution of Audit Issues
• Collaborate with key control/support partner groups to improve the quality of supervisory reporting, tools, and monitoring processes
• Drive operational risk program deliverables, including Risk and Control Self Assessments, key metrics, and operational event reporting

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of recent experience in a Risk & Control environment
• Hands-on experience with reporting, SharePoint, and data management
• Experience with Jira, SharePoint, Excel, Tableau and SQL
• Ability to communicate complex technical subject matter into clear, concise language for various audiences
• Demonstrated increasing levels of accountability and ownership
• Ability to operate as a change agent and drive change across diverse stakeholder groups
• Strong collaboration and partnering skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate teams
• Comfortable with ambiguous situations; capable of analyzing, simplifying, and collaborating to solve complex problems
• Strategic thinker, self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight
• Ability to coordinate and drive execution of priorities and meet deadlines to adhere to policies and standards
• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Desired skills:

• Prior experience in a similar large-scale enterprise environment

Pay range: $46.18 - $54.18 per hour
