Production Associate

Position: Production Associate Location: Waynesville Pay Rate: $18.76/hour (+$2.00 night shift differential) Shift: Night Shift | 12-hour shifts Summary While reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Production Associate (Inspector/Packer) is responsible for packing thermoformed trays quickly, safely, and accurately while supporting production flow and quality standards. Responsibilities Retrieve parts from trim press Place parts in specified relationship to each other Inspect stacks of parts for defects Place parts in bags, seal bags, and place them into corrugated boxes Tend machines such as trim press and pack station parts‑handling equipment Cut and stack sheet when needed Grind sheet and trays as needed Build and/or stage all packaging material per product specification Fill out labels and flow bills correctly Use pallet jacks to place skids of product in the warehouse Assist the Operator when starting the line Help train new employees when necessary Follow all safety policies and procedures Follow housekeeping standards Comply with all company policies and procedures Perform other duties as requested by the Supervisor Work overtime as required Qualifications Mission‐driven and quality focused Previous packing or warehouse experience is helpful Strong “get it done” attitude and urgency in completing tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills Can work independently while managing multiple tasks Reliable, proactive, and committed Can lift up to 50 pounds as needed Works effectively in a fast‑paced team environment Can read and understand manufacturing instructions Can perform repetitive duties, including stairs and standing for long periods Can work quickly while maintaining craftsmanship and attention to detail No prior manufacturing experience is required Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents, including FSA and HSA options 401(k) retirement plan with company match Employee Assistance Program and wellbeing resources Paid time off and holidays Company‑paid and voluntary insurance plans including life, accident, and disability coverage Tuition reimbursement Equal Opportunity Employer .
