Advanced Nurse / Paramedic Practitioner

Band 7: £52,845 to £61,466 per annum Band 6: £43,231 to £52,679 per annum Distant Islands Allowance: £1,461 per annum 36 hours per week Permanent posts – 3 We are seeking a highly-motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our multi‑disciplinary Integrated Front Door team. Key Responsibilities Provide urgent and unscheduled care as part of the first response team for the provision of primary care home visits, NHS 24, custody care, AAU and Hospital @ Home level care. Participate in a 24‑hour, 7‑day‑a‑week, 365‑day‑per‑year service, including shift work, overnight and weekends. Work closely with resident GPs, nursing team, SAS and other primary and secondary care specialist clinicians. Support clinical colleagues across medical, nursing, mental health and Scottish Ambulance Service teams. Contribute to local development of primary care and acute services, including remote‑island delivery. Qualifications & Requirements Registered Nurse Practitioner with the required qualification and registration. Previous experience in urgent and unscheduled care or similar multidisciplinary settings. Ability to work flexible shift schedules, including overnight and weekend shifts. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme). Benefits and Conditions Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 per annum. Permanent post. PVG Scheme registration required. Relocation expenses not provided.
