Zoom Interview, Hybrid RoleOutline Of Responsibilities:Researching, writing, and editing IT related contentWorking closely with various departments to understand project requirementsIndependently gathering information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, process documentation, and business requirementsWorking with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storageResearch, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy data migrationDevelop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentationCommitment to digital accessibility, a working knowledge of WCAG 2.0 AA standards, and best practices in the use of plain languageMandatory Minimum Qualifications:The successful candidate must have minimally achieved the following level of experience:Minimum 3 years of industry experience as a technical writerWorking knowledge of WCAG 2.0 AA standardsExperience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiencesExperience researching and producing business requirementsExperience working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support contentAbility to quickly learn and understand complex topicsSuperior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detailPreferable Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in relevant field, can be technical, journalism, communicationAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritizationFirm understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Previous software development documentation experienceProficient with the Google suite – Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Forms – as well as the Microsoft Office Suite and related softwareFluency in HTML-editing tools and Content Management Systems.
