Research Scientist III

Research Scientist III at Integrated DNA Technologies will develop new NGS assay products and support market offerings through experimental design, data analysis, and cross-functional communication. The role combines wet-lab and computational approaches to advance genomics applications in oncology and genetic disease.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new NGS products integrating wet-lab and computational methods
Plan and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results independently
Support commercial NGS products as a subject matter expert
Generate creative technical solutions to resolve product challenges
Present product demonstrations at scientific conferences

Requirements

Master's degree in life sciences with 3+ years NGS experience, or Ph.D. in life sciences with some NGS experience
Hands-on wet-lab experience preparing nucleic acids for NGS
Dry-lab programming skills for NGS data analysis
Foundational knowledge of human genetics and cancer biology
Strong oral and written communication abilities for complex scientific topics
Familiarity with Illumina sequencing technology

Compensation: $85,000-$105,000 base, plus eligible bonus/incentive pay
