Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design individualized therapy strategies aimed at meeting their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Employ evidence-based techniques to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities.
• Collaborate within Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, SLPs, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Train patients and their families in therapeutic techniques that promote progress and empowerment at home.
• Monitor Progress and Document Outcomes: Keep precise records of clinical progress and adjust treatment approaches when necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Education

• Accredited degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Ongoing professional development and specialized certifications strongly encouraged.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory.
