Appliance Repair Technician - Sealed System certified a PLUS

Job Summary: will deliver field-based customer service and product repair, modification and installation of home appliances. Technicians will provide timely and professional repairs of products while maintaining high levels of customer service.

Specifically looking for sealed system certified technicians to perform refrigeration work. Need to be EPA certified and have their license.

Duties:

· Completing daily routes

· Communicating with customers about the problem, resolution, repair cost and any suggestions

· Referring to schematic drawings, product manuals, and troubleshooting guides in order to diagnose and repair problems

· Contacting manufacturer and vendor tech lines for troubleshooting assistance

· Researching parts numbers and pricing via websites and phone

· Contacting vendors for authorization when exceeding pre-auth limits

· Thoroughly and accurately completing all paperwork required

· Staying up to date on contract rates & policies

· Keeping the proper tools on hand to effectively diagnose & repair appliances

· Maintaining vehicles and performing daily inspections; communicating to management of vehicle problems

· Keeping up with truck stock inventory alongside parts department conducting quarterly inventory audits

· Maintaining a clean work area in home, in shop and in vehicle
