Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, travel assignment in Herrin, IL. Start date 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay between $1,542 and $1,638 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: Nights. Setting: hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult Med Surg patients, including ongoing assessment, documentation, and care planning.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, infusions, and therapies per physician orders; respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and family education.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record; ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality of care; participate in rounds and care conferences as needed.
- Floating requirement: may float to clinically appropriate Med Surg units as needed, within scope of practice and licensure.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Illinois (or eligible for licensure)
- Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS as required by unit requirements
- Relevant Med Surg nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and float to other Med Surg units as needed
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN licensure
